Discover It 5-7 day message?

Is this typically a denial? Or maybe just a need for more information? My scores are below. I have a BK from 2008, three paid charge-offs from 2011, and three paid collection accounts. Goodies are student loans (some with late payments from 2011 but nothing recent), open and closed car loans, one positive closed credit card, and one open CapOne QS1 opened 8/2014 with $1000 CL and 4% util. I really should have waited on app'ing for the Discover It, but I just couldn't. I'm going to call in the morning, just looking for others' experiences. Thanks!

I apped for the Discover IT today, and was approved for a $1500 CL. I apped a few months before, and all I could get was an offer for a joint application. A month or so before that, I got the 5-7 day message, which ended up being a denial...and that has always been my experience. I have never gotten a 5-7 day message, or any other "we need time to review your app" type message that resulted in a "yes". But that's just me. As of today, my FICO is 680, and my utilization is at 19% - my utilization made the difference. I have no doubt.

When my result screen popped up, it showed a reference number and a phone number to call - they wanted me to answer a few questions, and then they told me my limit.

Maybe a denial.

I got instapproved with a 637 EQ FICO though for a reduced incentive offer. 0% for 6mos, 22.99% afterward with $1,800 Starting CL.

I was denied instantly with discover when I apped about 2 weeks ago. But I apped with Barclays and got the 10day. They called me a couple days later to ask a few questions and approved me with a 1k limit. I plan to reapp with discover in the future.

Okay, I'm kind of starting to wonder what the heck is going on. I called first thing this morning, and the very nice rep couldn't find my app. I said I submitted it late last night, and she said that it can take a bit for their system to update, and to please call back later. I've been checking the "Check Status" link all day, and it keeps telling me that nothing is found. I'm going to try the site again and probably call again tomorrow, but has anyone else had experience with this?
