Diners Club Elite Approval

So, I posted my last set of approvals on 10/21 and what I assumed was to be the final round for 2014. However, due to whatever circumstances from the very initial system glitch and address issue that started it all back from 9/28, it turns out I was also approved for the Elite on 10/27 (found out from the UW folks on 10/28) for the same CL as the Premier, $25,000. I was quite confused because as I mentioned to them I had only submitted an application for the Premier, but after a long discussion (since it was already approved) I decided to keep it.

They apologized for the mix up since it appears the UW folks had a separate application that was supposed to be cancelled out (which never did) and had the other product type since the original application was stuck. Needless to say, an interesting experience overall but no complaints. The denial letter (from 9/28) citing the reason "UNABLE TO VERIFY ADDRESS" finally arrived yesterday. The Elite card arrived this morning. I posted a bit of that experience on this thread as well.

LOL! No teasing I would defintely call them and see where your application status stands. Based on what you've shared, plus what others have commented as well, I don't see why you wouldn't get approved!

I was thinking just this, But with some of the approvals i've seen, I'm gonna be kinda annoyed at a denial, Not mad though since they didn't pull EX on me.

Has anyone had to Recon this card for really old C/O's?, and if so, How's their Recon dept?

Thanks ghgirll123 I would imagine since they were just recently reintroduced that it will be available for sometime... I wish you luck whenever you decide to apply!

Yes, I understand and I just caught up on some reading and saw that you were approved for SallieMae, so congratulations on the 4th try! LOL. Now, Diners is different of course and I can't imagine the same outcome would occur. The only denial I read (to some extent) was Creditaddict's but your profile is night and day comapred to his.

Ah, I see. Yeah, 4th try was the charm on that one. For a minute there I thought I was going to gonna have to ejector seat myself out of my plane again but I guess "Miracles" do happen.
