Just got my first AMEX

After months of hemming and hawing, I finally bit the bullet and applied for my first AMEX card. I was approved for an AMEX Everyday card with an interest rate of 12.99% (which I guess is the best they offer for this card) and a starting CL of $18,000. That makes this card my highest limit. I decided to apply for this card because there's no annual fee and you earn MR points like their charge cards which gives me some flexibility when it comes to rewards.

Thank you again to everyone on this board who helped me with lots of good advice and information. It was a long and bumpy road to get to this point where I can get cards like this and have an extremely low rate mortgage on a beautiful house. For everyone out there starting on your journey, don't give up hope. It takes some time to sort out your mistakes, but it will all turn out really well in the end if you stick with the advice of the knowledgeable people on this forum.

Dang. That's a really good APR. I still get the highest APR on any Amex I apply for with high scores.
