Approved for Victoria's Secret Card!

Long story short I'm rebuilding my credit which is awful. Anyway, I was looking on here for a reason I cannot remember and came accross the "cart trick". Well, I tried with several different store websites and it did NOT work for me. Well I googled Victoria's Secrets approval rate and based on my CK and lender pulled credit scores I had 0% chance. With myFico about a 5-10% chance. Well I did it anyway and low and behold I was instantly approved for 250!! I don't really shop there so I think that will help with not going over credit limits. I'm so happy! Those that have the card how do you like it? Also, do they do CLI?

Congrats! I have one that I also got using the Shopping Cart Trick back in May 2012 w/ a $1300 CL. It started at $500 and has grown. You can request a cli after your 9th statement, I believe. All SP too. I shop there ( and B&BW) when they have good sales and I also like the rewards. I PIF because the interest rate is nuts.

Congrats! on VS approval. You might like to try the luv button at only 2 months for a CLI due to their low standard SL for some cardholders. This card is also good at Bed, Bath, and Body Works!

Yes, they do CLIs. I use the card at Bath and Body Works...not so much at Victoria's Secret. Congrats!

Congrats. I love mine!! But I also love Victorias Secret and shopped there a lot before getting the store card. Their point system is amazing. When you get the card in the mail you will also get a book of coupons and there is at least one coupon for each month of the year in the book plus they send more coupons throughout the year. Like I said the points are already pretty good. For example I just went to victorias secret and bought one bra and 1 pair of panties for only $29.00 (after all the coupons) the bra was originally $58 and the panties $16.50. Even though I bought both items with coupons and paid a lot less including getting the panties for free I still got points on the original price. All bras are double points so I got 160 points for only $29.00(bra) and 0 for the panties (which I PIF'ed) after 250 you get a $10 giftcard and you can upgrade to the other cards they have after so many points (VIP and FOREVER) and once you get to FOREVER you get a $15 giftcard for every 250 points. I also heard if you turn around and pay your purchase in full in store right after you make the purchase you get double points. For example I bought something and got 160 points if I turn around and pay it in full right after I bought it I will get another 160 points (I havent tried it yet) I also only had the card since September so I cant speak for CLIs but I heard every 9 months. I thought I was going to have a problem with using it to much but I have actually been good with it and I love it. It will be one of the store cards that I keep for a long long time no matter what cards I have in my wallet. Congrats and welcome to the VS Family.

The wife has one and loves it. Gets rewards and double points on certain items. You earn 10 angel bucks for every certain dollar amount that I know of. Sorry for not knowing the exact amount. They also have different reward levels once you start earining points. Anyways, congrats on your new card!!!
