Approved Walmart Card

I decided to take the plunge and was approved for the Wally World card. I am very happy about it after reading the many good posts about it here. They wanted me to purchase something right then and there, but I decided to wait for the card to arrive ( it says 5-10 days). I received a $500 credit line and my current scores are in my sig. I have one collection on all three reports, ten years of credit experience, 3 revolving lines, two installment lines all with no lates, 23% UTL, an old 30 day late and 4 inquiries on basically all the reports including the one they pulled today from TU. No email respsonse from Walmart as of yet. Thanks for all the help!

I just five minutes ago got a $500 limit and called the personal accounts backdoor number and asked for $3500 and they countered w $1500. Its regular not discover version. I have 19inquires :/

I called the backdoor and they denied any Cl. They did say that the card grows with you and if you pay on time over the first six momths, they would "revisit" your CL request.

I know there are a ton of Walmart Card threads, but each story is different, and what helped me was to find someone in the same or similar boat as me credit wise. So hopefully this will help someone on the fence about applying.

Congratulations!! And don't forget to sign up for paperless billings when you set up your online account. Doing that will provide you with your TU Fico score every month.

Congrats OP, I love my wally card I received an auto CLI after 2 statements, so don't worry, it will grow like wild fire if you treat it properly
