Barclay CLI

I logged onto Barclay mobile app today knowing that my 6th statement had cut and I find a $1300 CL, a nice bump from the $500 they originally gave me. It may not seem like much to some, but considering that I am trying to rebuild, it's a small victory for me.

Usage:

May - Used the card heavily for college graduation and vacation. utilization was around 96%

June through September - Put only $20 on the card each month and paid a little over the minimum and utilization would stray by just a little

October - Paid the card down to 130/500, ran about $100 and brought it back down to $130 before the statement cut.

i have also added 5 new accounts since I got my Barclays.

I still don't get how Barclays CLI works but I am happy about mines

Congrats on the CLI! Barclays was my first non-subprime card when I started rebuilding. I find they give generous CLI's if you run a lot of money through their cards.

Congrats! They do like heavy usage. Otherwise they put you on ignore lol. And their customer generated cli requests are an hp.

Nice... Love Barclays.

Barclays was the first "real", "non-ripoff" company to give me a card. They've been really good to me. Started with 750. After six months it went to 1250. Then after 8 or 9 months to 2k. About to hit a year in a few days. I've noticed that if they see you using your CL, and making multiple payments, they can be generous with CLI's. I was originally making 5-6 payments a months.
