It only took 7 YEARS!!

Got a letter in the mail the other day that Target was increasing my limit by a whopping $200. I now have $700 available for a credit limit. I guess it's something. But after 7 years you'd think they'd be a little more generous.

I have a 13 year old card (BofA) that has never had a CLI.

Well...that makes me feel silly for checking my Target limit once a month, in the hopes that I'll get a CLI since I got the card seven months ago.

I think I would call and let Target know they have earned a reduction in your wallet and would they please remove $300 from your curent credit line.

target is something... and your data is safe with them too! ;]

Glad you got something!!! I seriously would not have had the tolerance or patience to wait that long. Hell, I can't even go a week in between cli requests, and was about to close my gap card today when I got a nice increase, lol!!!' I certainly wouldn't have had that card that long at that limit. It would sitting closed on my reports congrats to you and wishing you many more!!'

I could never have a target card because of their low limits, I'd probably pull all my hair out. Congratulations though thats better than most

I've had a Target card for over 10 years. Perfect payment history/PIF and am STILL at the same tired $200 limit. I hate Target and Target hates me. I roll my eyes every time I pass by a Target. I only use it a couple times a year and pay it off as soon as I get home. For years, I used the card fairly frequently but after so long with the same crappy CL, I decided to use it just enough to keep the account open. Age of account is the ONLY reason I keep this card open. Congrats on your increase. I would probably pass out if they ever gave me one. LOL!
