Just passed the 6 months from my last CLI on my BCE.

Went through the automated system and requested $30K. Instant approval !!

My CL was $20K

No i went through the automated line and requested $30K and it was literally instant approval.

I would think if they needed something, they would give me the 7-10 day message and/or a number to call

Usually 25k or above gets a 4506t request.
Your cred must be stellar to get an instant approval like that!

I used this card maybe 4 times in the past 6 months. Generally for the 3% cashback category.

I don't know how true that is. A great deal of the posts about this are just people repeating what they've read on other threads rather than experiencing it themselves. It's certainly not unheard of for requests above $25K to result in a request for income verification, but I don't know that I've seen enough to indicate that it is the norm. My CL is above $25K from an auto CLI, which did not require income verification (but I recognize the distinction between a requested CLI and an auto increase).
