Cap One Venture

Came out of the garden last night and pulled the trigger on Cap One Venture rewards (2X points and no FTF). My oh my, approved with $50,000 CL. Going to try it out for awhile and see how the travel benefits stack up against some of my others.

I guess it's worth it to go into gardening mode

Wife and I got one too! not for 50k but was shocked to get one for 5k!

Same here, going to try it out for the travel points and see if it helps pay for some things..... get rid of these little 300 cards

As far as I am concerned, nothing is ever final until the card actually arrives in the mail with the stated CL, which should be in about 7 to 10 days. So we'll see if the approval screen from last night holds. Called them to confirm, but all they could tell me is that I was approved and the CSR couldn't see the CL.

That is what makes me nervous because I don't ever recall seeing one that high from them. Wish I had saved the approval screen last nite as a pic. If it comes back different, I will be doing some major groveling on this board.

Cap1 is throwing out a few high limits trying to lure the other suckers into applying and hoping for the same credit limit only to get a 3k limit! Don't fall for it people, for the love of god!

Lol. In case that CL they told me does hold, some data points at the time of app: TU 770, another account already at $50K CL (NFCU), household annual income north of $350, utilization less than 10%, AAoA 6 years.

Most CC companies don't take CU's into account like NFCU or Nasa for that matter as they are not the normal.. Your income of 350k is what did it, I am sure. Congrats...

Once again others, please don't do what this person did as it is a fluke unless you have close to 800 scores and make great money...
