Walmart Store Card vs Walmart Mastercard Approval

I applied last week for the Walmart Store CC. I got an email this morning saying my Walmart Mastercard is on the way?? I don't guess it matters since the MC can be used anywhere, but why am I getting the Mastercard and not the store card??

Also, where do I find the Credit Solutions Chat?? Once I get the card in the next few days, I will probably recon??

Sorry, one more.......If you request a CLI either on-line or via chat or via phone, is it a hard pull??

Yes once you receive your card in the mail and set up online access you should see the chat during business hours right above where transactions would be listed.

Ask for $25k and they will counter.

it's a sp always with walmart.

Congrats! You can call GECRB credit solutions from the backdoor numbers. You are first considered for the Mastercard if not qualified the the store card. It's normally a SP. Thanks for sharing.

Just got my Walmart MC, registered online. Initial CL of 1600. Income over 100k, did the chat with representative online and got this answer:

Thank you for waiting. Im sorry your request for an increase has been denied. You will receive a letter in 7-10 business days or if you have enrolled in electronic delivery, you will receive the letter via email explaining the reason for the decision. If you find we based the decision on incorrect information, please contact your credit bureau indicated on the letter and call us when the information has been corrected.

No baddies, prolly 7 inqs, good hx otherwise. Oh well.

try 866-519-6441 not sure you won't get same outcome but worth a try.
