Citi Double Cash

Hi,

I got an offer from Citibank for $200 bonus after spending $1000 in 3 months so went forward and applied for double cash card. Was instantly approved for $3300. However, I was expecting a better CL. Is there some way I can get the limit reconsidered without getting another pull?

It will definitely be another hp. They have been very generous on the cli requests for this card though.

I'm jealous you got the bonus offer. I just got approved for my DC last week, but wasn't given any offer. I was given a CL of $4900. Thinking of asking for a CLI when I get it.

I have been getting preapproval offers for Citi cards for more than a year now...for there Thank You card and Diamond but was never interested as my wife already has a Citi Dividend from them on which I am authorized user. It was this $200 offer that made me apply for this card.

Doubtful.....but there has been great success reported from doing the CLI after card activation. In fact, I did it a couple weeks ago. Got approved for $1700, got the card out of the mailbox, activated it, and went online and did CLI request. In about 4 hours I got the email saying my request was approved. When I woke up the next morning and logged in it showed my new limit of $10k. It was a hard pull, but worth it for me to go from 1700 to 10k.

Congrats on the approval. I'd call them and ask for $15k. They pulled EQ for my CLI request.

I got my card in mail today. It is a World Mastercard, though it has only $3300 limit.

I went ahead and asked for $15000 limit....approved.

Ya gotta love Citi right? They've been everything for me expected in a CC company to be and then some. In return they carry a majority of my business and earned my loyalty right out of the gate from day 1! They have a very good CLI system from experience.

As per Quizzle and Creditsesame they pulled my Equifax and Experian both for approval and Equifax for CLI (as of now!). I do not have the current Equifax score, but my current TU is 784 (Discover) and Experian is 734 (US Bank).
