Capital One Card CLI Letter

I applied for a CLI increase on my Sony Cap One card last week.. I was declined and recieved a letter stating the reason why which is below:

Thank you for contacting Capital One® regarding your account. Unfortunately, we cannot approve a

credit line increase for the following reason(s):

Credit line increases are not available upon request for this type of account

Has anybody requested a CLI and received this letter? It didn't decline me for anythign else other than "the account isn't eligable"...

I return to my dungeon in shame haha

I had to call Capital One EO to get an increase from 500 to 5000.

Yea, i've done that before last fall and was declined.. so this time i thought what the heck and tried it with the online chat... and low and behold i was declined again i'll try again in a few months...

Never call the EO cold. Send the EO an email and allow them to call you back. This is the accepted way to get maximum results from Capital One.
