Random Citi Dividend CLI!

I've only had the card for 3 months...i called them randomly thinking eh, it can't hurt and BAM..he approved me for a 1200 increase!!

No hard pull no nothing!

Never thought it would be that easy!

Now my limit is 2400! So happy =]

I made sure there wasnt one. They rep reassured me serveral times and even offered to give me his name and phone number just to make me feel more secure.

All he asked for was my income and that was it!

Why are yu so sure it was a HP?

The represenative said he did not lookin into ANY credit bearues or didn't pull any reports. He just asked for my income. That is all

Hey i'm just trying to keep you informed. When they ask for income they pull a report, SP or HP. Or maybe even use a SP they have on file from you.

CSR's anywhere nowadays have not a clue of what a SP or HP is and even if they do they still cant grasp what their company policies are. Never take a CSR's word on INQ's.

So i actually went and called again and gt another represenative who was able to look at the CLI and she confirmed it was a soft pull..

Yeap. First rep said it wasn't. Then I called again to confirm just to be sure and another rep looked into the CLI and confirmed it was a soft pull.
