Lowes, J Crew, Express and Sportsmans Guide CLIs

Just recently was approved for the Hilton Hhoners Reserve card and then tried my luck at some credit line increases. First I hit up all five of my comenity cards, I kept hitting the luv button on all of them until I got the 7 to 10 message. J Crew increased my limit from $5600 to $9200, Buckle was a no go, Express increased me from $600 to $1000, Total Rewards was a no and Sportsman Guide gave me an $800 increase from $8000 to $8800. Next I called credit solutions after my 12th statment cut on my Lowes account and they gave me $3k from $5500 to $8500. Not too bad, it helped me feel better after Amex denied my 3x CLI on my SPG card.

Congrats! With a siggy and scores like yours, AMEX denied you? What was their reason for denial?

Thanks. They cited too many INQs. Unfortunately just about everyone pulled EX for me so I have quite a few. Im done appying for cards now so maybe in January they will give me an increase. Still not happy about the denial though...

Oh dude, sorry to hear that. You're right. Give a month or so and you'll be good. What about CLI'S on some of your other cards that HP or SP Equifax and TU?

I tried my GM Card and QS card but they went into "needs further review stage" and my Thank You card said the same as Amex did. Next month my paypal card will hit 16 months so I know I'll get something there but until then I just have to be patient. Easier said than done though when it comes to me. I may try my Barclays Rewards card next but that'll most likely be a HP on TU.

That would be nice! It would be pretty sharp looking too if it was solid black like the card is now.
