OMG Amex and Chase

A month and a half ago I got a an Amex PRG. I figured I didn't have the scores to get a revolver card. After reading a forum post I decided what the hell and I applied for the SPG Amex card. I had to call the next morning to verify my info but they approved me for 2,000. Which while not my largest line I was very happy with. I am in it for the bonus anyway. At the same time I applied for the Chase SP card. This one I knew I had a snowball chance in hell in getting. Well I just got an email from chase I have been approved. I called to see what my CL was and I found out it was 12k. This is my highest CL yet. Just edging out my discover card. I immediatly called the number and asked them to expidite the card to me because I am going to Japan and Bangkok next week. They said they would have it to me in two days.

Very excited.

How many months of credit you have when you applied for PRG card

My AAoA is 2.5 years. My oldest account is 5.5 years. I stopped using credit about 13 years ago. Everything aged off my report. I got my first card about 4 years ago but never did anything to improve my score. I had a 520 about 4 years ago. Two years ago I started working slowly on making my credit better. And just this year I hit the point where I was getting prime cards.
