Chase AARP Visa Approval

Well, I'm only 40 but the $100 CB on $500 purchase in 1st 3 months and 3% CB on gas and restaurant rewards was too enticing. I applied and got instant approval for $15,000 CL.

Good grief that's a great limit. I'm only 42, but AARP is definately my go to card. I use it far more than any of the others. Wish my limit was as high as yours!

It's an amazing card IMO and the points really really begin to accumulate just by making ordinary gas and restaurant purchases (and yes, even McDonald's counts too}. Congratulations and I hope you enjoy it.

I honestly think this is one of the most underated cards avaiable today. Maybe it's just that the gas and dining dits perfectly with my spending habits, but I find myself using this card by far the most. The redemption threshold of $20 is nice as is everything about the card. I'm honestly not sure why it doesn't generate more interest than it does.

I agree completely. I think part of the reason it's so underrated though is that I don't think a lot of younger people would want to be seen carrying around a credit card that had the AARP logo on it though I haven't had any issues or stares when I use the card or anything. It also comes with a similar sign up bonus to the Freedom too.

I love my AARP card. I eat out a lot, so it is the perfect card for me. I am somewhat young as well (25), but I haven't gotten any negative feedback for carrying the card. For the record, it is actually a very attractive card. I have only had people look at it with interest, if anything.

To the OP, congrats on the approval and on that fantastic starting limit! That's almost definitely going to be a Visa Signature!

Congrats, that one awesome card with one hell of limit!. It's a shame the card doesn't receive more love. I'm 27 and as others have said, it's a card you can grow old with.
