A little Macy's Love

Hey guys and gals! Well I was approved for a Macy's card with the dreaded $100 CL. I shop at Macy's often so I was still happy. But, I called CS anyway to see if they would increase my limit. They actually gave me a few hundred more to equal $300. Its still a very small limit but its an OK start. The CSR said shop with us a few months and call back and we'll see if we can raise your limit. Oh and they raised my limit manually without any sort of credit pull that I could see. Im rebuilding so I will garden the accounts I have and next year go for a prime card or two. Cheers!

Congratulations! It'll go up fast if you use it and pay well. Mine was doubled from $600 to $1200 on chat the day after my third statement cut with a soft pull. Probably going to try for another one before Christmas with the "need to get some last minute gifts" excuse on chat.

keep hope alive. i applied for macy's straight from the website and received the $100 CL, used it fairly often and paid in full everytime except once. low and behold 4 months later, i checked my statement and my account limit was raised to $2000, not to mention i have a $1900 special purchases account too for furniture and such. now only if nordstroms would follow suit.
