BOA auto credit limit increase after a year

My BOA BBR credit card finally received an...*wait for it* amazing..... *wait for it* credit limit increase of a total of $500.00!

BOA is super stingy -- haha! But in their defense, I rarely charged anything on that card until recently to take advantage of BankAmeriDeals's AT&T new line promotion. Charged the card for my monthly payments and bam - I guess they decided to grant me an increase. I didn't even realize it until I got a letter in the mail.

Welps -- better than nothing, right? Do you guys have any similar stories with BOA?

They did not give me any auto-CLI which I hear they usually do not give. But when I asked for a $5000 CL on my Cash Rewards card (having $1100 CL) I was approved for what I asked with a HP.

Congrats! That's a nice raise. I don't bother increasing my limit since I rarely use this card anymore. BOA doesn't have a lot of benefits compared to the other credit companies.

If you show good usage with the card a HP CL request is worth it with BOA. I went from 10k to 18k in 3 months with about 2700 through the card, then asked for CL by HP and got the 8k increase
