three cards in three days!

Just wanted to share with everyone, got my partner three credit cards in three days. First we applied for freedome card through my private client banker, ironically DENIED lolz. So, i was like wth.... do your magic, the banker put in a speical request. Took over 3 days and was still processing, so i went to chase website myself and try to see if my partner was pre-approved. Boom! the offer was there so i quickly filled out the application and submitted, approved for 2000! lol. next day I check discover website and there was an offer too. So i filled out and submitted it again and approved but only 500 not so exciting... on the third night i was like what the hell, lets try a prime card, so we put the application in for the Marriot card and boom! approved for 5k lol. Here is what his profile looks like, age 23, AAOA 3 years, only had 2 cards one cap one 500, and one CU 500. I got hs name attach to my accounts (with chase) and also opened up a saving acc under his name alone with 5-digit numbers in it with chase 5days before applying. score were 623, 650 650. 3 medical bills at collections and still open, no other baddies tho. I hope this information help people who want this card. We are heading to the garden for sure lol enough with the cards for this year. oh btw, he got denial from amex everyday card... no reasons were given.. except said "your score is 623"

Congrats to you vis-a-vis your partner ... work on those baddies if possible -- that's if they are not about to fall off on their own anytime soon. IMO, all of those are "prime" cards. ;-)

Thank you all, yes we are going to stop for now! and definately working on those med bills, we have to fight on one bill becasue it was job related med bill from his old job and they never pay for it >.< and working on the other two to pay off.

Seems like you guys went nuts! One card well managed and payments on the prior debt should take care of his credit.

Congrats! Discover is notoriously stingy with initial credit limits, but they're good about giving CLIs. A CSR told me you only need 3 months of history with them to get a CLI (I'm not sure if they mean 90 days or 3 statements), and I've heard of people getting auto CLIs after 6 months to a year. Discover started me at 500, but they recently increased me to 1250 (albeit with a hard pull, possibly because I have a cosigner).

We kinda did, has hadnt been applying any cards in like three years so 4 hard pulls in a month should not matter that much atleast we thought lol. But yea defiantely we are in the garden now. Got all the bonus offers and sign up staff too what was great!
