Strange.. Did Capital One give my secured card a CLI? Graduate??

My secured Capital One account that I opened eight months ago had a $200 CL after a $50 deposit to open the account, I just logged in to look in to closing the card as I have several unsecured lines and it does not graduate I thought. I noticed when I logged in a credit limit that is now $500... not a big deal and still may close the account but right now just curious as to why and how this happened.

You are certainly free to close it, however I would suggest you keep it open and continue to use it until your unsecured CapOne starts to get significant CLI, and you see regular approvals on other unsecured cards. While NFCU is generous with CL, it will still take a while to get and build other limits.

Congratulations on the CLI! You are headed in the right direction!

This actually just happened to me as well. I had to keep refreshing the page and even chatted with them online to make sure it was right.
