Hi Everyone,

In the past i has been a very bad credit guy. In the last 3 yrs. i has been repairing my credit but there is still work to do.

In September i applied for a Cap1 and for my surprise i has been approved for a CL of $300. Days later i applied for a Discover card and have been approved for a $200 CL. In that month i was the happiest man in the world because it was long time the absence of credit. From there i was paying the cards in full each month and never pass the 30% utilization.

This Tuesday i applied for a Bank Of America Travel Reward and have been approved with a CL of $1,000 that was awesome.

Today i applied for AmEx and i was approved for a Amex blue cash everyday with a CL of 2,500

Also I want to ask, if with a salary of $31,000 (Puerto Rico Salary) can still approved for a $10,000 CL or more?

Congrats! Salary is only 1 of several factors CCC's typically used for credit decisions ... FICO score, utilization, debt/credit ratios, baddies, internal scoring, etc., all can play a part.

Yes, you can get higher credit limits with what you make. The longer you establish your credit the better the limits will be. Congratulations on your approvals.

Congratulations on your success so far. Best wishes in the future. As mentioned by others, salary is only one of the factors that affect the decision on credit limit

Grats to your new cards and yes I was approved for CL in excess of 10K reporting only 30K at the time.
