So ealier today I lean on my community of friends here at Myfico. I decided to hit the pre-approval link for the Freedom card an it said I was pre-approved. At the bottom it also said I have another offer which was the Slate. I asked what my chances were an every one said I had a shot at the Freedom but unsure on the Slate. Well I went ahead an applied for the Freedom an recieved a CL of 2200. when I hit learn more for the slate, I recieved a,

Same here!..Thinking they are having a serious promotional gig going on right now..They declined me last month for the same card! Today they approved me for 3500! Who Cares! Approved! Ex Fico 662-Trans-655-Eq-645.

same here, yesterday I got approved for the freedom with a 2k cl and 30 days answer on the slate, did the double hp on you?, they did hp twice on tu and once on equifax, please keep us update on your slate application!

Congrats! Almost the same thing happended to me, approved for 3k on the Freedom and got the 7-10 day message on the Slate. When I call the backdoor number they said my Slate app was declined due to "a recent application or too many applications". I didn't really need the Slate but I figured what the heck I'd definitely call the backdoor number Monday and see what they say. As for pulls on me, they did EXP for the Freedom and TU for the Slate (under Farley State Bank) and another EXP for my Chase Marriott app (which hopefully is approved since Fraud called me early last week)

chase double hp on my TU, I did apply for amex bce (approved 5k cl) and amex gold charge card (denided) too yesterday, amex did a single hp on my experian!!, double hp on my TU and single hp on my experian fron chase!!!, keep us post if you call recon monday!!!!

I just received an alert from my Equifax advantage plan. It looks as if Chase was a single pull so far on my TU. I'm not sure if I will get another one for Slate. In case anyone is wondering, I am in Southern California.

They pulled from two different bureau's yesterday for the chase freedom ,one from TU one from Ex. Applied for Amex BCE Denied! sucks! Amex pulled from EX 662 Fico. They just wont approve me!

i just called chase. I talked to the rep an he stated he dosen't see an app for the slate? But he did congratulate me on the freedom approval. Is it possible that the slate is under the same HP as the freedom? I am lost. I never applied for the slate I just hit learn more an that's when the box came up with a 7- 10 day notice.
