Finally, CLI with CapOne

After months and months of trying, I finally got a rep from Capital One to email "someone important" about my situation. I had been stuck at $300 on my Quicksilver for a very long time, and kept getting denied an increase. I hadn't heard anything back from them, so i checked my account last night, and they had bumped me to $2000. I'm still not going to use it, considering it's 22.99% and I have 3 cards with 0% for all of next year. Just happy I finally got some love!

It seems like they're in the spirit of giving lately.

I contacted EO about bumping my $3,000 QS Visa to $6,000 and a VS upgrade and no word back yet. 10 days ago.

Its funny how Cap1 is so stingy with me
I asked last week and they said no !
its the only card I have with below 10k limit
How funny it is my total Credit Utilization is at below 5%

Only one word Cap1 knows unless you go through EO is "NO".. The training of the CSR's goes something like this.. Just say "NO" on any question.

Vegan sorry for getting off track but where do you find the Harvard alumni card from Barclays Application? I thought you had to go through HUECU? What type of rewards does it have?

Google Capital One EO or Capital One CEO email address.. Email them your info in and what you want from them and they will call you.

Vegan sorry for getting off track but where do you find the Harvard alumni card from Barclays Application? I thought you had to go through HUECU? What type of rewards does it have?

I think they stopped accepting new Applicants
The benefit is Low APR Below 8% never changed
And no Foreign Transaction Fee
Thats about it
to me Salle Mae looks a lot better right now
since my BoA Travel rewards and PenFed has no Foreign Transaction fees

Thanks, I tried to find it but couldn't. I don't think I'll go with the HUECU since I'm already a member of two other Credit unions.

Hey, I got a $1000 CL increase on an obscure Capital One student card (journey) that has 1% cash back and the high 22.9% interest. I have had the card for 1 1/2 years. They wouldn't give it to me on the quicksilver that they upgraded last month but did for this card without me asking for it. I'm also getting tempting cc applications in the mail, so maybe my credit score has improved. My total CL is just a little over $10K for all my cards and my credit card utilization is almost zero. I'm on a tight budget and have a long history of spending problems. Now I'm trying to be a good boy in my mid 50's. It's nice to have spending flexibility, though.
