I was thinking the same thing. I work a late swing early graveyard shift tonight (8pm-4am) so will be up all night. Wonder if i could call the automated system around 1 am when i have my lunchbreak but dont know if its best to wait later in the day.

You guys are taking into account time zones, correct? Not sure why it's so hard to wait less than a day to be safe but to each his own.

Thanks guys!...honestly I will not feel bad if I get denied because I did get a couple of very good card approvals that I don't regret applying for. Good thing is I can try again in 90 days if I am not approved.

Do this. They denied me for having too high balances on AMEX and my other cards. I had $559 in balances reporting (All on Discover/Freedom) and $282 on my Amex.

dont feel bad, as i expected got the 7-10 message so im sure denied. Well, will try again in 3 months.
