CSP - Approved!

So after a bitter defeat not getting the Ritz.. I decided to try the Pre-qual Site last night and the CSP finally popped up.. A card I also wanted... Decided to App today..

It was not instant, had to go through verification, but no RECON!

Approved $7500 .. That will be my HIGHEST limit to date.. Chase Pre-Quals are still spot on for me 2/2..

As I said, Chase can be quite weird and inconsistent but you got something you wanted so that's the most important thing. You make me wanna go for that card next year instead of the Mariott.

Was Suprised by the limit to be honest, being my second Chase card and also being my highest limit by over 3500 next up is my freedom @ 4k and only being with chase for about 1.5 months...TU Fico is about 700ish on the dot atm. Amex hasn't reported yet, although that is only a 1k limit, that will be at 9k before the end of the year.. Hoping they don't freak out about the Amex Acceptable, but such a small credit line atm with Amex..

The Pre-Quals havne't failed me yet and last time I did it, it was a single TU pull.. Know the pre-qual site is TU and that is my strongest score by 30iish points as one baddie is missing from there that exists on two other reports so rolled the dice and sure enough was a TU pull lol. I would of probably got approved regardless if it was a TU and EX or TU and EQ report, but none-the-less was nice being a single pull!

Don't think it was borderline either with a 7500 vs 5k starting limit... Still peived about the Ritz denial.. Double pull on my "bad" reports.. Anyways, I am happy and not going to expose myself to Chase anymore.. Only have 21k in Credit and using what about 300 dollars at the moment so utilization is nothing and make 100k+ a year.. If they say I have to much credit in a few months I will lose it on them lol

Congrats CC!!! Chase is sure quirky, it was the opposite for my brother. He applied and got denied CSP last month, he applies a few days ago for the Ritz and got the 30 day message, well he just told me he got approved for 6k and it is showing on his online profile already. He has the amazon and freedom both with 500 limits and suddenly gets a 6k signature approval...go figure...

Ya its weird can't get there amazon or ritz cartd (co-branded), but can get the freedom, csp card... Also prequalied for the slate, could probably get that but 2 cards is enough with one lender for me at the moment.. waiting till the end of 2015 and then will go for another amex and possibly Citi.. We shall see how 2015 pans out for me.

So as many have known I have had the freedom since around Nov. 15th.... 4k limit whatever.. I was pre-qualified on that as well and it also showed the slate...

Anyways, fast forward to what about 2 weeks ago when the Ritz craze was going on and declined etc...

So checked there pre-qual site today as I check it every few days and guess what popped up? The CSP..... So obviously as most know the Pre-Quals are golden...

I have been waiting for this... Am I stupid if I apply tomorrow since all this closures BS w/chase and the recent denial of the Ritz card? Input is welcome!

Like they are putting carrot on a stick in front of me!
