App Spree, 6/7 Passed! (Citi DC, BofA BBR, US Bank Cash+, etc.)

Gardened for almost 6 months and couldn't resist and jumped the gun one day before the 180th day after my last card. But it turned out to be alright! Here's what I got and listed in the order of the timeline:

- Barclaycard Ring: This is the first card I applied for and I know Barclaycard is tough to deal with... proved me right. I didn't get it. Called recon once and got the reply "not enough credit history...". Expected so I moved on.

- Citi Double Cash: This is tough as well. No decision after applied. Called in, verified the details, and got rejected after 2 minutes of music. Then called EO, and told them that I used to be a CitiGold customer for more than 2 years, and they said they'll consider it. Got a phone call 2 days later and got the congratulations.

- US Bank Cash+: I took a break after the first two cards and submit the application to my banker in the branch a day after (bank relationship, baby!). Got 7-10 days messege the first time I tried. Banker called, waited for 10 minutes, ding! Got it.

- FIA: Instant approval.

- Chase Amazon Rewards: Instant approval.

- BofA BBR: Under review when submitted, got approved 2 hours later.

- Chase IHG: Under review when submitted, got approved a day later.

I feel the takeaway is, if you have an okay bank relationship with a bank, it should be quite easy. You can just call your banker to pressure the underwriting department to get the card for you. Normally, I think my score wouldn't get me DC and Cash+, and it is probably the bank relationship which helps in the final decision.
