Shooting for Amex Costco TE tomorrow

Got the car gassed up. Shopping list ready. Hitting CS desk and upgrading to an executive membership and applying for that darn TE.

I have been sitting here in anticipation for around 4 months waiting for January to optimize backdating (01/1989). Got a 3x CLI on my BCE in November. So I seem to be good with them again, finally. Scores up, Low UTIL, one inquiry today with Nordy since Nordy is hyper inquiry sensitive. Crossing my fingers.

My spouse was declined for the Costco TE Card. We are planning on doing a lot of shopping there too and would like this card. Approved $1k Amex Everyday on 11-01-2014, Declined CLI3x on 01-02-15 (ugh), approved for the PRG the same day I was declined for the CLI3x. MyFico Experian score 727, 6 inquiries (2 of them are Amex). Would I be allowed to apply, let's say next week, for the Costco TE Amex in-store having been declined for the 3xCLI but approved for the PRG on 01/02/15?
