6 statements. Mine turned 1 year yesterday wont let me process one online

Im waiving the white flag with Discover. They have officially become my bottom feeder card.

Im into them now for the 5% on movies/restaurants. Once that's done though...idk lol... We shall see how my cli goes or lack thereof. I noticed that having a $400 bal reporting out of a $4000 cl dropped my eq fico like 9 points. Had that been Amex, Id not experienced any drop since my Amex limit is 2.5 times that :-/

Won't let you process? Do you mean, when you request, it's declined? Or, you don't see a button?

same here...tried one via phone SP after 7 months and denied. Letter with TU score of 712. Was going to call them up next month to request one via HP but after getting 3 new revolvers i am just going to keep using and PIF until they eventually show me some luv (i hope).

In my opinion, you shouldn't give up on Discover unless they still won't give you a CLI after you request it and sacrifice a hard inquiry.

I mean Discover is not the best card to have around for 1 simple reasom

Is just hassle to get a cli most of the time and when they do its alway modest

I was suprised you had such high expectations from a lender like that. As you know Discover can be real unpredictable some times

Eh, I like discover for their categories. I understand they are conservative but cmon now...............1 year of perfect payment history, never late, PIF. you can do a little something with the toy 1K limit I have!!!

An i refuse to take a HP for it, Ge throws credit at me for SP's and their Discover luvs me more so KICKS ROCKS DFS!!!!

I can call GE now and ask for 10k more on my credit cards and they will approve me with a soft pull in 10 minute

I hope Discover isn't stingy with my at month six. I finally got my util down from like 14% to 10%.
Cost me like $4k UGH.
Having high limits becomes a hassle when you want to reduce util. A 1% decrease in util cost me like 1,000!! Lol

I will also give it a trial on my 6th statement...but NO HP for sure...I am gardening for CSP. if not matched my other CL I will SD and use for 5% categiories only. after reading several posts it will be more likely to end up in my SD than a CLI adjustment
