They gave me the card with in-store app with $1kCL, just 2 years after BK7. But I'm rarely in a store, nearest store is an hour away for me. And I don't really see the point of their stores, if I want a discount dept. store I go whole hog and go to Walmart.

But the Red Card is handy for shopping target.com, 5% discount & free shipping w/no min. purchase. But I didn't use the card from 4/2013-5/2014 and I noticed they lowered the CL to $200. I called and the rep said they had lowered the CL due to inactivity, but she would flag it for review at the end of the month. That was 6 months ago and I'm still at $200 CL. I just ordered a pair of slippers for $20.82, which puts me over 10% utilization - yeah, I'm going to spend a ton of $$$ at Target.

I have had my target redcard for almost 2 years. I called in about 6 weeks asking for a cli because I heard customers could request them now.

The lady took down my info and said I would hear something via mail or my next statement. well 6 weeks later nothing. I feel like 300 dollars is tall they want to give me but my

j crew is near over 6k already since october lol.

I work for target and Do alot of apps for people in store (one of the Higher Converter of the Redcard) and I see CLs of either 300, 700 or 3k depending on the person. Target is stingy I think because they got burned before the 2008 Financial Situation, and also because I think the Previous bank they used they had issues with, and now its TD bank which isnt really a big company. My DGF had her CL increased from 300 to 500 after only 3 months of use. IMO just make sure ur income is up to date and PIF. It is really crappy tho tho the CLs they give and it does deter people from opening them.
