Cap One really is forgiving!!!

I just got approved for QS1 UNSECURED with $3k credit limit. I still have an unpaid judgement with them that's still on my CRs.

I just needed another CC, so I app'd.

Sweet. Congrats. In a few months, chat with them or call an try to PC to a QS with no AF. I have the same card and limit and in 2 months they removed the AF and sent me a QS. Good luck.

So I could just call and ask them to change to a different card? Would that be another round of hard pulls? I know cap one usually pulls all 3B, plus Innovis and ARS. Is that correct?

I'm not sure if it would require new hard pulls, I've never done a PC with them. I do know that for the regular QS they say you need to have excellent credit ie: no baddys. As well as have had a card with I believe a 5k limit for 3 years/ or loan. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though. I have there QS1 as well, I don't see the big deal with a $39 AF. That's one hour of work for me on OT lol.

I have (Platinum to QS), and it does not require a hard pull.

Grats on your new Cap-1 card

I would be moving to settle that judgment they can come at you anytime and seize bank accounts and other assets, they will be in a perfect position to get your bank account info when you make your payments on the new card so beware....

I read this post and decided, what the heck! I, too, have a not so happy history with Capital One and figured they'd not accept me again. I app'd and got a QS1 with $500 CL. Better than nothing with my rebuilder's credit. This is the first unsecured major credit card I've been able to get so I'm happy.

Now I'm wondering if I can maybe get them to remove my old TL that has a few negatives (late payments/ closed account) on it once this one is up and running in the positive. Anyone ever seen that happen?

Same here!!! I app'd yesterday and got the same CL. I had several CO accounts with Cap1 and the last one was paid off in September. I need a boost in my scores and it was suggested to get a couple of revolvers in my arsenal again. I was shocked by the CL as I was expecting a low limit. $3k was my 2nd highest CL before the CO's.

Congrats!!!! Can't wait to get my new card. Make sure you treat it well.
