Citibank Diamond Preferred SP?

Does Citibank give a SP for CLI? I have this card for a little over a year, I used it for a BT, and for the first 6 months used it a bit but paying it off slowly. I have about 500$ left (still within my 0% apr).

Short answer= YES

There should be a Limit Increase form on your CDP online account for that. However if they can't or won't do a CLI with a SP they will alert you that it will require a HP.

FWIW, i did a CLI via their online form and it produced a $1400 CLI on a $2K limit bringing the total to $3.4K and then shortly thereafter when the 0% promo ended at 12 months PC it over to Citi's 2% Double Cash Card.

omg you guys are the best. I got $1200.

It did say if I would like to request more they would need to pull my credit report.

In addition, my own Citi Diamond Preferred card started at $800 and in 3 months with a HP thru their EO it went straight to $2K. It was another 8 months after that when i tried their online credit limit request form.

APPROVED with a SP!!!

So again, YES!!!

Citi DOES do SP limit increase!

The wife is waiting on late this month to get this same thing going on her Diamond Preferred.

You guys are lucky then. I had a hard inquiry trying to get a CLI on my best buy card and ended closing it for the lousy increase.. Congrats OP

If I must say I had dealings with citi late last year to remove an inquiry which they did. in 2013 when i applied for the diamond, I also applied for the simplicity and tried to recon when I got denied and ended up with 3 inquiries. I emailed someone and they answered immedicately, asked to send my credit report and sent me a letter stating it will be removed and it was.

It's soft. If they need to HP they'll ask first. I think the CLI screen says it on the bottom.
