Lowe's Approval

Hey guys,

I'm doing some upgrades to my home, and need to pad my util a little, so i figured one last hurrah before hitting the garden would be to get a lowes card. Instantly approved online for $500, called in and spoke to a rep and was instantly bumped to $12k. that's a good way to start a morning.

I think you could have asked for $25k and gotten a bigger limit.

congrats on the lowes. Sometimes I'm tempted to get mine back but def not now.

why not now?

I did ask for 25k. they came back with 12k. I'll try again next week.

Oh I see. In that case after you get that stuff for your home, you can just charge for a pack of gum or something to keep it open and then call credit solutions in a few months to try again for more.

I'm not actually sure but I think making small charges like that, letting a balance report and PIF will be enough to keep it open.

Thanks for the tip. I'm not overly worried right now because I'm gonna be carrying a 50% balance for a few months, but it's good to know for later.
