Amex and Walmart CLIs

Last week my Amex Delta made 181 days. Requested cli from $9k to $25k. Instant approval!!! Sweet. My first card to break $20k barrier. This morning I requested my Walmart to go from $5k to $10k. They approved $8k. I'll take it. Hitting up BOA next week to match Amex $25k as soon as Amex reports. BOA LOVES to match limits!!

That's so awesome.

I tried 180 CLI on my Delta and got nothing. Tried to get it up to $12k. Oh well.

And I thought Walmart could be a pretty stingy one. They were my least growing Synchrony card that I closed a while back.

Yeah Walmart has denied my last several requests. I recently closed my Chevron. So, I figured that freed up some money for my other Synchrony cards. I was right. I was hesistant to request the $25k with Amex because of the whole myth of $25k and above automatically triggering 4506-t request. WRONG!! It's just not true folks. Should have requested my full $27k. But I like multiples of 5s.

Thx elim!! And EX still has two baddies. So, I was quite shocked they approved such a high limit. I pif every month. Have never ever carried a balance with Amex.

I would spend $1000 to $1300 monthly and pif. Started at $3k then instantly approved to $9k then $25k.

I haven't really used my Gold Delta Skymiles card much in a while so perhaps that's one of the reasons they declined me this time for an increase. All of my Amex spending now is on the PRG.

Congratulations on all your CLI's. Did you also do a 61 day CLI prior to 181?
