Chase Zappos Rewards VISA Approved!

I applied for this CC when my Experian FICO Score read 679 on January 29th so I went ahead and applied for Chase Freedom, Chase BP, Chase Slate and Chase Zappos. Got denied for all of them except for Zapos. I today I got an e-mail welcoming me to Zappos Rewards! Was approved for $500. Not that great but at least im in with Chase! I can now close my Wells Fargo VISA once I pay it off.

Good job.

Now give it a few months and you can try again for the Freedom. Chase will treat you well if you do the same thing in return.

Agreed! Chase REALLY does value relationships. Once you get a few months past that first approval it really opens the door to more and more cards from Chase. There are so many good cards to choose from too!!

Congrats on approval!

As for Wells Fargo...you do realize that you can just not use a card. You don't have to close it. If it's a temptation, buy a safe and lock it up. You need zero balances and some account stability.

You could always try reconning the other Chase cards. I'm curious to see what they tell you, if you do.

I need to stable accounts thats forsure, and Wells Fargo was my first CC ......I will do this and keep it with no acitivity, maybe use it to pay my cellphone bill once and a while for use, and take advantage of the cell phone insurance? Thanks SunriseEarth! Chase stated too many inquriies which is fine with me, Im just glad I at least got Zappos They will see my excellent payment and grant me another CC down the road.

You profile looks good I dont see why you wouldnt get approved I was approved with 35+ inquries on EX and some what high UTL. Just because your EX FIco does seem low but you can always reconsider! and thanks!!

EDIT: I have 50 inquiries on EX so I might of had maybe 46 when I applied yet they gave me a chance hahha

WOW I just made count and I have 50 inquiries on EX!! I need stop that's a lot! This should be more than enough to keep me from applying, I thought it was maybe around 35 or 40 NOT 50 hahhaha. Thanks Nixon glad to be in with Chase!
