MY FIRST $10K CREDIT CARD LIMIT

I would like to thank everyone here that contributed to my hours of research and learning on this board. THANK YOU!! I am not a member of Facebook this is my Facebook!! I log in here daily just to see the updates and how everyone manages their new found success in the credit world. It's still an ongoing process for me as I am still learning. Thanks to you guys here I asked PenFed for a CLI on my Promise card the limit was $5000 which was the original limit in 2012. I worked hard to get my utilization down. Applied and APPROVED FOR $10K!! I have several cards but none with a 5 digit limit. It took a while to see the APPROVED once they pulled my Equifax I got the alert checked my application status and BAM!! My current FICO scores as of today 2/23/15 are 758 EQUIFAX 771 TRANSUNION 724 EXPERIAN. THANKS TO EVERYONE HERE MY JOURNEY IS NOT OVER. I would like to be at least 800 by the beginning of 2016. Right now my utilization is at 0. I donot have a balance on any card that doesn't reflect on my report because it hasn't been updated. The utilization thats reporting is less than 5% is this good or bad.

Grats on your new 10K CL

You dont want all your cards reporting 0 you get a Fico ding for that. A util of 5% on 1 card reporting is great, anything less than 10% of an individual cards CL is good.

Congrats! Between 1 and 9 percent util reporting is optimal.
