NFCU Luv - $20k + $15k LOC

My heart is still pounding! I bit the bullet, applied and was approved for the Platinum card ($20k) and the LOC ($15k). I was going to hold out until the summer when my UTL will be down (I'm riding out my 0% promos), but after receiving an invitation to apply yesterday I went for it.

I almost didn't go for the LOC, but after going though the NFCU thread, for the umpteenth time, I felt a bit emboldened! Shout out to Credit Addict and all the rest of the MyFico fam for all the great info! As it's been said a million times, I've learned so much here and I appreciate you all!

I'm always shocked when I read people that have credit from all these banks but have access to Navy and yet Navy is the one they debate or hold out applying to but not the others... Glad you came around and CONGRATS on the 2 nice lines!

Thanks to all for the well wishes! CA, I'm with you, I took the long way around. I have a family member in the Navy, but it didn't dawn on me to join NFCU until a year after I had aquired multiple cards (this time last year). Not to mention, NFCU gave me a fantastic rate of 5.74% + Prime, I'm thrilled!
