Chase freedom 6month 2x CLI

Did an online CLI on the freedom. i was preapproved for $3500.00 6 months ago. Did an online CLI request for $10k it showed as a hard pull. I called them with the ref # they said that it was flatly declined. But I was nice & polite & mentioned how I had it for 6 months and put a lot of money on it & paid balance in full every month even though it was 0% intro APR.

She softened up & said she would take a look. She put me on hold for 3 minutes. Came back and asked why I wanted the increase. I said I wanted to order $4555.00 worth of furniture of Macy's & I wanted the cash back from using the card instead of paying by check. BUt my limit was too low. So she said she can counter to $7500. i took it.

They pulled both EQ and EX

I thought CLI requests for chase were only on the phone?

I requested a CLI via SM and the letter came today that I need to thaw Ex. I thought CLIs were only a SP? No way, I'm not taking a HP for a CLI from Chase, they ain't that glamorous to me!
