On 3/2, I purchased my 3 scores from this website. They were EQ 722, TU 726, EX 742. Cards were not used the previous week, nor the next 48 hrs leading up to my app for the Freedom card and AMEX BCE. I was denied, harshly, due to having Chase IIB. Although I recon'd twice, and I'm at 10 years in October, they only focused on the NEGATIVES in my file. Anyways, I apped for the Freedom and Amex BCE at the same time on, 3/4/15. Although denied by Chase, Amex approved me. When I got the letters this week for both cards, AMEX had pulled EX and the score they provided me was 745. Moreless spot on with the purchased myfico scores. Chase pulled BOTH EQ and TU. They only provided me with a TU score. Per their letter, it was 692! This is a whopping 34 point discrepancy with the myfico score of 726. Again, the AMEX score was almost identical, this one is way off. Applied exact same time. Does anybody have any insight into this discrepancy. I know that even if my reported score was 726, I still wouldn't have got the card. It's just troubling how 'off' the Chase TU score is compared to the score provided by myfico 36 hrs earlier.

There will always be a difference between the bureaus just because of the way info is reported and not all creditors report to all 3 either. Sometimes those scores are internal models and I would suspect that if it doesnt say its a Fico score.

That score from Chase sounds a lot like their own Card Aquisition Risk Model that they use sometimes to make decisions. Did it specifically say it was a FICO score or something like what I described here.

Now that I look it a little closer, it does appear to be a CARS score. I just saw the score and jumped right to the conclusion it was the FICO score. So I assume that's just their internal scoring model?!?! Again, after the waste of time phone calls I had with them, I could've had an 850 FICO and they would've seen would be BANKRUPTCY!!!

Chase has a long memory... Pay it back and they might let you back in with them? Gotta ask yourself the question, is it worth it to have a relationship with them again or a possible relationship with them again.

A long memory indeed regardless if you had an 850 FICO. Much worse outcome if a lender is burned such as IIB and the amount of the losses. Some folks can eventually get back with Chase, others will not. But, all is not lost since you got approved by AMEX and there are plenty of other lenders out there.

I think different score model, i getting my score from this website too, my EX shows 686, but they list morgage, auto and credit card lenders score which 19 points lower than main score.

Commonly used in credit card lending

667FICO® Bankcard Score 8Version for credit card lending Score Range: 250–900Credit Rating: Fair

Yes, my BK falls off in October. I was shocked to get the 2nd refusal today and my TU score was up to 745???? Wth. It went up 53 points in 24 hrs. Remember, first letter was 692. So weird. Yes, I learned the hard way. I highly recommend not a pping w chase if you have a BK with them. Unfortunately, citi as well was in my BK. Discover was as well, but they gave me a new card. BOA is prob the only card left and I WON'T be applying till November at the earliest. However, if this amex 3xCLI thing holds true, I'll have a 17,000 card in less than 55 days. I'll be waiting patiently...... Happy Spring Y'all!!!!
