CLI and New Accounts this week

Requested increases of the following accounts:

Amazon store card: $3,100 -> $6,000

Sams club store card: $937 -> $8,000

JC Pennys: $900 -> $5,000

Applied for the equality card and recived a $2,500 SL

So by my calculations I'm just over $275,000 in total credit, and my utilization is just about 2%. Last year at this time my credit limits were just about $10,000. This site has taught me a lot!!!!

Now I just need to garden for all my accounts to age, and for my inquires to fall off. I have about 60 or 70 accounts that I maintain, but I use quicken to help with it.

I applied yesterday and asked if they needed any information to complete the application. The verified my information and two credit accounts, and told me to wait 24/48 hours to call back for a decision. Well I called today in the morning and they hadn't decisioned the app, but when I called back on my way home, the woman said it was approved yesterday for the $2,500 SL.

I proactively took the first step and called them, and sure enough, they wanted to verify information before the started processing the application. I never thought it was possible either, but I've had my bumps from a few creditors like Chase and Barclays. They both closed my accounts for acquiring too much credit and new accounts in 12 months. I had the CSP, and Disney Premier from Chase, and the Arrival, and rewards master card from Barclays. My only gripe about them closing them is that the available credit and accounts were there when I applied so it's thier loss, and I won't apply with them again,

I hope you don't look to acquire any property soon. No bank is going to give you a loan if you have the ability to get into a quarter-million dollars in debt. I am very impressed though..
