Just got my 2nd CLI for Capital One Platinum

Hey guys,

I always read a lot of negative things on Capital One and how stingy they are with their CLI's.

I originally got my Platinum around 2 years ago with 500 cl

With the steps program, I got an increase to 2,250 about 6 months in.

Since then, I haven't asked for any CLI's, but just now, through they're website, I asked for a CLI and they granted me a 1,000 CLI.

I had spoken to a CSR and he told me to try to get that CLI if I hadn't requested one for at least 6 months, or am not enrolled for the steps program.

It's a soft inquiry, so don't worry about it lowering your score

Congratulations! You should try to have it upgraded to a Quicksilver soon.

Awesome, congrats on your CLI. As anomlous said, you should get the rewards. Go on chat on their website and ask to PC to the Quicksilver card ( QS ) Make sure that its a PC. Why not get 1.5% back on every purchase. Good luck

just PC'd both my Platinum MC and QS1 to Quicksilvers.

I'm hoping they're really Quicksilver Visa Siggy's. I read on a couple other threads they rarely do that, but hey, they told me they were Visa
