Amazon Store Card

So I was Approved for the Amazon Store Card with 1400 cl. Is there a recon number I can call to get a higher limit or do I need to wait until I recieve the card in mail to register and then hit cli luv button? Also is this normally a soft pull or a hard pull for the regular Amazon Store Card that I was just approved for online?

You can call Credit Solutions and the app was a HP, the CLI request will be SP. 877-379-8173

Congrats! The only thing they send in the mail is a paper with your account number on it, which, you really only need for your records. When you buy from Amazon, the number should be stored in payments. I called Synchrony after I was approved and at that time they would not increase me until they saw spending and payment history. Good luck to you, I hope you get more!

Just use the card and make over the minimum payments and youll have it raised in no time, I started my amazon store account 10/2014 and it was started at 1300 original CL, after a few months and purchases and paying off things they raised it to 5000 in Febuary and a few days ago it was now raised to 10,000. Just mature it and they will raise it, talk to online chat to get it raised in 3months and you should have a nice CL in no time.

Thanks a bunch Gust!!! Well I decided to give them a call and request the increase via phone. I asked for $5k and they countered with $4k!!!!! I love these forums!!! I got approved last week for $700 and within a week received my first CLI to $4k. I tried Walmart but it seems the system was down according to rep on the phone. She told me to try later or call tomorrow! You can count on me calling back for sure!!!! Thanks everyone!!

Well just a follow up. I called again a few hours after speaking to the first rep the way she asked me. I spoke with a new rep, asked for the same $5k limit and she countered with $4k giving me a $3750 increase!! Wow am I stoked!! I especially can't wait for these limits to hit my credit report cause that will definitely help to bring my overall utliztion down!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Each and every one of you in this thread have MADE MY NIGHT! It is a FALSE statement that Synchrony bank only does CLI's via HP. It has always been HP with our lowes and care credit.

This thread is just too cool! I could not locate the chat feature anywhere. I figured it was because of the time. So, I called. He asked for income, and asked what I wanted. Now me being at $800 and only open since April 2015, I didn't want to be too cocky... I guess I could have said higher and maybe they would have countered. But I asked for $3,000 and got it!

Have you let a statement cut? I've found that sometimes you have to let a statement or two cut before they will do an increase. Sam's Club finally gave me an increase from $600 to $2500 when I let a statement cut, then made a payment, then I went on chat and finally got an increase. I plan to wait 2 more statements then request an additional increase.
