Well for those gamblers out there, theres a new Total Rewards Visa coming out from Comenity Bank, which gurantees you platnium status in CET casino's

I have this card but from BofA. They discontinued the card and the reward program and im gonna be PC to regular bofa visa by april i think.

I don't know a lot about Ccs but I do know a lot about gambling in Harrahs lol. I can tell you platinum status is no big deal. There are 4 tiers starting with gold that every one gets, platinum is only the next one (tier 2) and the beinfits aren't very good. You need tier 3 to get all the good stuff like the short buffet line and etc. also the 5x points for spending at Harrahs properties isn't that great because if you go their a lot you know you don't spend much. Drinks are free and they usually comp hotel rooms or give you a very low rate, and obviously it doesn't apply to gambling because that's cash only.

The only thing I remember about my last time at Harrah's is that it reminded me of a retirement home. Virtually everyone was over 60, and people younger than 40 were non-existant. It's definitely not a place I'd like to frequent unless things have changed since then.

I think they mainly pull EX and EQ....at least that's the case with the store cards I have from them.

When I did my SmileGen card I did it through an email offering to check for pre-approval from my dentists office and it was a SP on EQ.....
