Cap One Credit Steps

Hello Everyone

In October I was approved for a $300 Quicksilver One Card through the EO. I would always use it up and pay it off right before the statement cut. I also received a letter stating that in 6 months I would receive a $200 increase to $500.

2 months ago, when everyone was getting CLIs online for their Cap One accounts (even if they were still on Credit Steps), I tried and was offered a $500 increase to $800.....I was a little disappointed in that base on other people's stories with the Credit Steps CLI so I didn't take it. I told myself I would just wait till my 6 months are up. I did, however, apply and was approved a Venture Card for 5K in February. So as you can imagine my scores are about 100 points higher then when I got my QS One card.

This morning my 6th statememnt cut and I went from $300-$2,300 on Credit Steps!! Very happy with waiting and not taking that $500 increase they offered me online!
