Equality Visa approved

Applied for the Equality Visa application late last night (4/6/15) thanks B335is. I seem to follow you around here and copy applications. I requested a credit limit of $10,000. Anyhow, I called in to check status of application today, thanks for the number CreditAddict. Verified 2 pieces of credit information (1pm EST) and was told to check back in 24/48 hours. I'm impatient as always. Just called in (5:32pm EST). Spoke with a rep who said it looks like you called in this afternoon to verify your information and your application is pending. I got nervous and thought he's thinking "fool didn't we tell you to call back in 24/48 hours". I just paused to see what he would do. He said let me put you on hold and check the status of your application. After 1 minute (quick) he came back and said you have been approved and you will receive your card in 7-10 days. I've heard that they slashed credit limits from the approval notices to when the card actually arrived so I asked was I approved for the requested amount. He said yes you were approved for $10,000. Not bad at all. Now hopefully, this doesn't end well and turn into a Duck situation because I would be upset as this time I've been approved.

Congrats... Be interesting if they slash your limit like they did to B335...

I think they will give $10k total between personal and business because my partner was approved for $10k business but had not applied for personal and his limit remained when the card came.

I'll be anxiously awaiting to see. B335is said he was approved for $9,500. I wonder if he requested that amount or that's what they came up with. B335is if you're out there, let me know.

Congrats! Finstar got his cut back to $5k too. I think they reevaluated the max personal limit to $5k now. Maybe the computer didn't update.

I left the limit blank, it might make a difference if you request $10k

Yes, I requested $10,000. I called back to re-verify. I got the same rep again and he said yes the limit is $10,000. We'll see when the card comes.

I input a requested amount, I believe it was $10K (being conservative). Card carrier still came imprinted with the $10K CL. It's when you register your account online or call to activate that you learn the CL has been adjusted. If you get lucky with $10K even after activation/registration... shhhhhhh

And if it is, just change the amount, no biggie If you got approved earlier today you should have the card by this time next week.

Seriously messed up if they cut limits because we didn't request the full $10k. It doesn't even list $10k being the max anywhere besides the emails from the CEO!

Mine is still pending. He couldn't tell me a thing. I hate it when they do that.
