I just got approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred!

I'm so excited. My credit card portfolio is now complete. I've always wanted to have an Amex and the CSP. And now I do

Thanks everybody! I've been afraid to apply for the longest time. I'm glad I did though. I was thinking about upgrading my amex from the green to the Gold Premier. But now instead of paying the hefty $175 AF, now I can just upgrade to the regular Gold and pay the $125 AF since I have the CSP now.

Awesome! Congrats! Chase has been very kind to me as well! I was approved for the sapphire card last may. Called in yesterday for a credit limit increase and was denied, but called the backdoor number (888-270-2127) for a credit analyst and was approved for $2000 bringing my credit limit on the sapphire up to $7000!

Again congrats on your approval and welcome to the sapphire preferred club!

You should call to have them expedite the card, i got it withing 2 days via UPS.

I think it looks the same, but is just a regular plastic card.
