Marriott and CSP Approval chances?? Advice needed

Current card: NFCU nreward 10 k limit,3k balance as of 3/6/2015 Harley CC 300 secured card, 0 balance I went on credit karma today trans is 691, equifax is 654. It says my util is 13%. I have 6 inq on trans and 24 inq on equifax. I live in Ga. Income is 40k. I am currently a marriott rewards member. In my Marriott profile my address is different from the one on my license. I want them to send my future credit card to the address on my marriott profile. I no longer live at the address on my drivers license, do you guys think they will do that? There are 2 boxes for mailing address in the marriott application. The 1st is mailing address #1. The 2nd is mailing address #2. I really want to get both of these cards, just don't want them going to address on my license. AAoa is a little over 2 yrs. I have (1) 30 day late from Jan 2014. That's the only negative on my credit profile.What do the gurus suggest I do? What are my approval chances?

Try the pre-qualify link on Chase's site and go get your DL fixed.

I tried it but no offers showed up. I will get my DL fixed. I just don't want to waste an inquiry.

What's your Experian?

Also they will probably double pull as your profile as you a little less than borderline. It could be a confirmation bias but those cards are typically 675 and higher with scores.

But 24 inqs....how?

I think you wouldn't get it. Chase double pulls EQ and EX, and 24 inquiries is a lot, which is reflected in the low score. The recent late is an issue. Give it some time before applying, IMO.

I don't know what my experian score is. I went car shopping 7/2014 and all of those lenders pulled equifax.

I was approved for csp 5k limit with 14 tu inquires and 26 ex inquiries with Both ficos at the time in the 650s. I was approved for ua mileage visa sig with Tu score and EX score low 700s and 25 inquires on both reports for 15k limit. Ymnv and i was never prequified

Wow! That's awesome. All I'm gonna do as of now is get my address changed on my license. Kinda scared to apply.

You really need to pull all three reports and confirm what address is listed on your reports also. It's best just to go ahead and get everything updated and correct.

Not always true. Chase pulls one EX for me and if I applied for two cards within two weeks they use same inq. I have the CAP, Freedom, HYATT, Marriott, and Amazon so I know.

Great news. I was approved for my very fist AMex Everday card on 3/25/2015. I forgot to ask what my starting limit is on Amex card I also applied for Chase Marriot and CSp, got the pending approval message. I called them and was told to fax them my license showing my new address. Can't wait to get a response.

FYI, Marriott generally won't show up in preapprovals. Chase typically only preapproves for their regular cards (Freedom, Slate, CSP).

PRobably verification... Call the backdoor analyst/UW number and they will transfer you if this is the case. GL

Yes. I talked to the verification department. I received 2 reference #'s one for each application to attach to my cover sheet. I had to fax my license because I moved a few months ago. The new address isn't showing up on my credit reports. I will be back soon with an update.

My advice is make a b&w copy of your license first, make sure it's legible and then fax the b&w copy. I used Hellofax when I had to send Chase my DL and they couldn't read the color version, so I had to re-fax a b&w copy and wait another week before it was approved.

Found out my Amex ED SL is 10K. Chase is really pissing me off. They have my DL and things are still pending. I even went to a branch and talked to a banker and he called verification which resulted in nothing getting accomplished. The rep said my applications had been closed as of 3/31/2015 because of my drivers license which is pure bs and I have to reapply again. Even the banker didn't understand it. I just wasted my time. Anyways, I finally called the EO today.I talked to a nice lady, she said she will get in contact with me in 48-72 hrs after she reviews everything. I will come back with an update soon.
