Long time lurker, recently started posting here and there. Question regarding the Chase Hyatt card. Got the 7 to 10 day message, called the recon number, and she said the fraud prevention department needs to verify information. No longer have fraud alerts on my credit, took it off months ago. Typically a good sign or?

Side note, this is a great forum. Greatly improved my credit portfolio thanks to these forums. Thanks in advance.

Yes.. It is a good sign if it is just verification.. Let us know the outcome when you ring them tomorrow..

I already have the freedom. Had it for like three years now. Want to expand my Chase relationship. Was a little surprised they need to verify information.

Typical Chase more so now days.. 99% if you made it to verification it is approved verification/fraud dept. one in the same. They will ask you like two or three questions then either tell you the limit or transfer you to someone that will.

I was almost in the same position as you, had the Freedom, apped for the Hyatt, got the 7 to 10 day message, called in, and was approved.
