Venture Train Is Still @ The Train Station ! $15k

ive been seeing all the Ventue approvals for a while now but didn't care to apply. Since I have my EX thawed out I have been considering it

for the passed few days.

I think ive stressed Baller4life and myself out with the continuous question....... Will I be approved ?

i finally app'd and was Approved for $15k my biggest limit thus far. Only big limit I have reporting is Sallie Mae @ $9,600.

Capital One pulled EX & TU for me. Scores and inquires below.

It's ok, I have a 7.7% APR card with no BT and no Cash advance fee I can use it for. Just cash advance $'into my checking account instantly

then pay the bill if I was going to carry a balance. Problem solved. Lol

So end up being a triple pull? Nevermind double pull.. Wow how you got them not to pull EQ I have no clue.. That is usually a deal breaker if they can't get EQ as that is their main deciding bureau.. weird even if iced it usually ends up in an instant deny.

Understand, but usually if they can't get that it is instant denial, but obviously something worked out for you and that is awesome...

More than likely because se his tu and ex so high. When I apped and eq was frozen. Instant decline. Even got pre qual. Letter said no access to Equifax. I decided I did not want it after that. Not bad enough to unfreeze. Or thaw eq.

What do you mean by "frozen"? Sorry, I'm not too up on credit terminology. I am thinking of requesting my Cap One cards be converged into one (hopefully) Venture card, or applying for one on it's own.

Hockeyman - capital one does NOT allow cards/limits to be combined. You have to yes the CLi butto or app a higher tier card (a card that handles higher limits).

so no need to try it, if you do ne succeed please report back and fill us all in on what you said and who you spoke to. Lol

a frozen reports means no one but you have access to it . No one can hard pull your credit unless it's unfrozEn/thawed out. But your current lenders can SP through a freeze.

its designed to protect you and your credit from fraud etc. usually $10 to freeze then unfreeze or temporary lift , for each CRA.

Thank you, ScoreOrBeScored. I learned something new. I will report what I end up doing. I'm afraid I will be denied if I apply as I already have 4 Cap One cards due to them taking over my Discover and HSBC card. They probably have a maximum. I don't want 4 cards or possibly 5, but would like a Venture card and keep my Quicksilver also.
