Walmart and Victoria Secrets CLI!

Thanks to much offered advise given in this forum I was able to get two CLI's today.

First Victoria Secrets, this account ( along with New York and Co) I have had since 95 and was devastated when it was closed in 2010. However I noticed earlier this year that it along with NYC had a credit limit of $150....hmmmm was the cards reopened...was my thought? Turns out both were reopened (without me asking for it I might add) with $150 credit limits. Moving forward NYC I was able to get a CLI last month to $450 great for my UTI as the balance was $450 but VS still had a balance of $824 with a CL of $150...ouch! No luck last month with the CLI. Today very nervously after reading post of people hitting the luv button until the 7-10 day message I said okay lets try again and it worked!!! I went from $150 -$350-$550 and then got the 7-10 day message. Not a lot but is helps my UTI against the now balance of $724....I plan to try both again next month.

On to Walmart....I have had this card since 2013 and never got a CLI it was decreased once from $400 to $300 and there is sat. I read some post that the Chat with an Agent is the way to go so I said okay, VS was good lets see what Walmart will do. Spoke with the agent she asked me how much I said $2000 thinking she may counter, and I got the whole $2000!!!! I screamed so loud in head...lol!!!!! It is taking everything within me not to break out in a praise dance at work...LOL!!!!

The best part is I just made my payments on both of these account Friday and the statements cut in a few days meaning it will definitely help my UTI this month as you see in my siggy I am sooooo close to a color change from orange to yellow!!!!

That is kinda weird that those closed accounts were reopened without you knowing. However, they are probably helping your AAoA

The best part is I just made my payments on both of these account Friday and the statements cut in a few days meaning it will definitely help my UTI this month as you see in my siggy I am sooooo close to a color change from orange to yellow!!!!

Oooh so tempted to try a cli through chat now. Walmart initially gave me love without requesting in Jan after 3 months, it was onay 100 but hey can't complain. I may until after it cuts a new statement this week, it will be 4 months since increase and 7 months with card. Or should I just go ahead and try? Hmmmm

Whatever you decide just make sure you do it via the chat...i have read that is the most sucessful way to go. Good luck!
