Capital One EO - Very Happy!

So a few have followed my rebuild story and specifically I wanted to share that my $300 QS1 card got a LUV increase of $100 to $400 on Valentines Day after being open for 4 months. I talked to EO in March and told them I'm using the card to pieces and would love a larger line. They said let the credit steps happen and if its not high enough, call us back. My 6th statement cut yesterday and I got a bump to $750 this morning. I was disappointed, but knew that they hadn't seen my latest 650 FICO. I called them back this morning and they pulled up my history/conversation with them. She told me they would review and get back to me in 3-5 days. I logged in 3 hours later and had been increased to $1500 from $750. Basically a nearly 4X credit line increase from yesterday. They haven't called me back yet, but I am very appreciative of their looking at me as an individual and not just a credit score. I have shown them the last 2 years that I can handle a $2250 secured card and now in six months gotten up to $1500 in unsecured. My next goal will be to get a prime card by end of year with some hard work! Thanks Capital One and thanks to all those that encouraged me this last 6 months!

I personally love CapOne.. It's comparable to Windows Explorer. No one wants to use it when you have got Google Chrome and Mozilla, but remember you need IE to download the other browsers.. Similarily, you need CapOne to boost your scores up so you can get to them Prime lenders.

Very nice! I've had CapOne for many many years. Though at times when I had a high balance it seemed they didn't want to work with me. Now it's paid off but I wanted a rewards card. Last night I applied for a Quicksilver and gave me $10K CL. So maybe they're not so bad afterall. I'm really glad to hear they have faith in you to increase your CL x4!!

Uh, Cap One is a prime lender.....

But on another note: OP, was the EO friendly and nice? I emailed them a few days ago myself, waiting for a response, wondering what you thought of the rep handling your case.

Above and beyond friendly during the call. I could tell she wasn't a decision maker but could see my credit profile. She took my information. I hurt myself a bit because when she asked how much I was requesting I said $1500 (I meant increase)... she obviously meant total credit line. I've been kicking myself since that phone call that I didn't say $5000 and let them come back with whatever they could do... but I also didnt want to scare them off... so I tried to stay reasonable. I was asking for $1500 more then I had... but ohh well.. $1500 is still just under 4X what I had earlier that morning ($400)... so I'm happy with it for the next 6 months. The main thing I was surprised about was that it all happened in 3 hours... she clearly said 3-5 days and alot of people on here report seeing their line hit several days later.
